😊 We are thrilled to share that VNF team had an incredible opportunity to meet with Chemistry Nobel laureate in 2022 – Professor. Morten Peter Meldal during his recent visit to Vietnam, alongside his wife Dr. Phaedria St. Hilaire. VNF team members are all chemistry enthusiasts, so we can hardly contain our excitement! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that left us all feeling inspired and energized!
🔑 As one of only three companies in the Agritech field that were invited by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) for this special meeting, VNF had the chance to showcase our innovative approach to valorizing shrimp by-products for agriculture application, while promoting environmental sustainability and a circular economy.
📔 We also explore Click chemistry (Nobel prize motivation of Professor Meldal) – a powerful tool for the synthesis of superior compounds. Chitosan is the second most abundant biopolymer in nature, with various applications such as in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and also agriculture thanks to its unique structures. Our team had the opportunity to learn from Professor Meldal’s expertise and explore the potential of Click chemistry in the synthesis of Chitosan derivatives to create novel biomaterials with even greater benefits.
