It has been more than a month since the Net Zero Challenge 2025 Grand Finale, yet the moment when the MC paused briefly before saying “And the winner is…” remains vivid. Just a few seconds – carrying the weight of a long and steady journey behind it.
Net Zero Challenge 2025 brought together more than 700 companies from 60 countries, under rigorous requirements for technology, feasibility, and long-term impact. In that context, seeing a Vietnamese company rise to the highest position meant far more than a result, and carried genuine emotion – affirming that local solutions, when pursued seriously and with long-term commitment, can stand confidently and compete on the global stage.
For VNF – Vietnam Food, what was recognized was not simply an award, but a two-year journey of disciplined and determined development behind RetriV – a circular economy solution built on capability, consistency, and belief. Behind it were late nights, shared pressure across teams, and the collective resolve to keep moving forward, even when the path ahead was still unclear.
For us, success never comes by chance. It is the result of persistence and the determination of people who choose to see things through together – and this result is only the beginning as VNF enters a longer journey ahead: developing RetriV into VNF’s first successful spin-off company – Made in Vietnam, for the World.
