FROM EDUCATION TO REAL-WORLD OPERATIONS: VNF & FTU

🌍 University–industry collaboration only becomes meaningful when it is embedded in how businesses build long-term capabilities—not limited to recruitment or short-term training.
🎯 With that perspective, VNF has worked alongside Foreign Trade University (FTU) over the years, particularly through the Foreign Trade University Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS) (FIIS – Trung tâm Sáng tạo và Ươm tạo FTU) and the Institute of Entrepreneur Instruction and Training (iEIT) (Viện Đào tạo và Tư vấn doanh nghiệp – Trường Đại học Ngoại thương)
📌 Across many VNF initiatives—such as sponsored projects, UNIDO webinars, ESG & IB programs, and digital transformation efforts—FTU alumni have consistently taken on operational roles from the partner side. Within VNF, many alumni also hold key positions across strategy, operations, and development. This reflects FTU’s ability to prepare talent who can directly engage in real operations and create tangible value from the outset.
📅 Building on this foundation, on April 16, 2026, VNF held a high-level working session with the Board of Directors of FTU – HCMC Branch. Both sides aligned that education quality in the next phase must be more closely linked to real-world operations and labor market demands, while also aiming to expand long-term collaboration through internships, recruitment, applied projects, and co-developing high-quality talent models.
🚀 The gap between academia and industry is not bridged by collaboration alone—but by working together on real problems.
🤝 VNF sincerely appreciates FTU – HCMC Branch (Phân hiệu Trường Đại học Ngoại thương tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh) for their engagement and for opening up deeper collaboration opportunities in the time ahead.
