At Booth C33, VNF welcomed 200+ visitors, of whom approximately 40% were international guests.Discussions focused on practical solutions that help farmers optimize costs, control disease, and improve operational efficiency.
VNF also participated in Session 4 with the topic:“Circular Economy & Biological Solutions: A Development Pathway for the Shrimp Industry.”
A key highlight of the presentation was the Pilot Project in collaboration with GIZ (GIZ in VIET NAM) — a solution for processing molted shrimp shells, a major issue in high-density lined pond farming systems.From this by-product, VNF extracts biological raw materials and develops solutions that can be directly applied to farming ponds, thereby:
• Reducing pollution and disease risks
• Lowering production costs
• Improving overall farming system efficiency
The project opens up a new approach to shrimp pond by-products, while shaping an integrated model that combines:• Circular economy (reusing by-products)
• Green economy (reducing environmental impact)
• Inclusive economy (creating value for multiple stakeholders across the value chain)
