VNF was honored to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of the Aquaculture and Fisheries discipline at Can Tho University (1976–2026), and would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the College of Aquaculture and Fisheries – Can Tho University (CTU) on this special occasion.
Over the past 50 years of development, the Aquaculture and Fisheries discipline has grown into one of Vietnam’s key centers for education, research, and technology transfer. To date, the College has trained nearly 9,000 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduates, providing highly qualified human resources for the industry as well as for government agencies, research institutes, and businesses. The College continues to innovate in education, promote applied research, and expand partnerships to become a reputable training and research center in the region.
Today, many members of the VNF team are CTU alumni, carrying with them a strong academic foundation that enables them to continue contributing and advancing their expertise in the industry. VNF deeply values and takes pride in seeing the knowledge and foundation built at the University continue to be applied effectively in practice.Among the VNF delegation attending this event were two CTU alumni, and for them, this was not only an event but also an emotional homecoming to the place where their professional journey began.
This event provided VNF with a valuable opportunity to reconnect with lecturers, experts, and businesses in the industry, while also opening the door to new partnerships. VNF would like to sincerely thank the faculty of the College of Aquaculture and Fisheries (Trường Thủy sản – Đại học Cần Thơ) – Can Tho University (Đại học Cần Thơ), the organizing committee, and all distinguished guests. We also wish the College, along with generations of students and alumni, continued success in teaching, learning, and professional endeavors.
