Stricter requirements on quality and heavy-metal content are putting heavy pressure on the imported raw materials used by the animal feed industry, and imported squid liquid and squid liver paste can exceed permitted limits when their inputs are not consistently controlled. Vietnam Food Joint Stock Company (VNF) has developed SSH-PLUS hydrolyzed squid liquid, a natural squid-based feed ingredient that stimulates feeding, improves feed intake and adds easily digestible protein while keeping raw-material quality under control. As a domestic hydrolyzed squid liquid, SSH-PLUS gives feed producers an alternative to imported squid liver paste, squid liquid and squid liver powder.
