Last week, amid the year-end rush period, Vietnam Food (VNF) continued to accompany and share with businesses and younger generation through two programs organized by Foreign Trade University (FTU).
At the programs, Ms. An Nguyen, Chief Strategist Officer of VNF, shared real-life stories from VNF’s journey. For VNF, transforming shrimp by-products into high-value biological products is driven not only by biotechnology but also by creative thinking, along with the collective capability in execution and project management.

These efforts have been recognized internationally, with the Innovation Award at the Global Shrimp Summit 2023, the UNDP award for plastic waste reduction initiatives, and a victory at the Net Zero Challenge 2025 among more than 700 companies from 60 countries.

Innovation

VNF shared our journey from idea from implementation to developing over 80 products and 6 application groups from a single shrimp head.

At the same time, VNF highlighted the essential mindset and core spirit of our company – “dare to do” – to help young talents prepare to create value within organizations where innovation is a core driver.

A.I. & Digital Transformation

VNF has identified A.I. as the main focus of our 2024 – 2026 Digital Transformation program.

A.I. is being deployed with a truly “company-wide” approach, through multiple cross-functional task forces, powered entirely by internal capabilities, with more than 75 A.I. tasks put into operation in 2025.
We hope this sharing will inspire young people to dare to dream, dare to go further, and persist in pursuing the path they choose.
