On 5 December 2016, the Brenntag Vietnam Foods and Nha Trang University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Research and Development of biotechnological and environmentally friendly approaches to fishery and aquaculture by-product.
The signing of the MoU marked the developing partnership between several leading companies in Vietnam across various fields, including: Vietnam Brenntag (under the Brenntag Group in Germany) as a distributor of high-quality materials and chemicals worldwide and a leading market presence in Europe, North America, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region; Nha Trang University’s Professors and Doctors providing a wealth of knowledge and research on the planting, harvesting, and processing of seafood accumulated throughout the years, and Vietnam foods as a pioneer in the industry processing of seafood products in Vietnam
The signing of the cooperation agreement on the ” Research and Development of biotechnological and environmentally friendly approaches to fishery and aquaculture,” aimed to enable all parties to share their experiences, support one another, and maximize each party’s strengths – ultimately generating new high-value products beneficial for every party and contributing to their future success
