On November 12th, 2024, the Training Program on Industrial Marine Farming and Management Capacity Building in Agricultural Production officially kicked off at Nha Trang University. This event was a vibrant gathering of nearly 200 participants, including cooperative representatives, fishermen, and agricultural extension officers from eight Central Vietnamese provinces. Designed to boost management expertise and promote sustainable aquaculture practices, the program promises a significant step forward for Vietnam’s aquaculture sector.
💚 Thien Tam Fund, founded in 2006 under the Vingroup Corporation, has significantly contributed to Vietnam through numerous charitable programs. This year, the fund continues to support agricultural development by offering each participating cooperative 1 billion VND in interest-free loans for 10 years, fostering long-term sustainability and growth.
🌟 VNF (represented by our Head of Animal Nutrition Giang Anh Nguyen) was honored to deliver a speech at the event, sharing insights on implementing circular economy solutions in aquaculture. We introduced our innovative approach of transforming seafood by-products into high-value products—a strategy that reduces waste, generates economic benefits, and protects the environment.
🙏 VNF extends heartfelt gratitude to the Directorate of Fisheries, the National Agricultural Extension Center, Nha Trang University, Can Tho University, Thien Tam Fund, and the Central New Rural Coordination Office, for organizing and inviting VNF to contribute to this meaningful event.
