From 27th to 29th of April 2018, at the conference hall of Bac Lieu Culture Center, the Vietnam Food Join Stock Company (VNF) participated in the VIETSHRIMP Exhibition Fair. This is a large exhibition specialized in animal husbandry, processing and equipment support industries. There are more than 150 booths of nearly 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, including big brands in the shrimp industry (such as Minh Phu Seafood Seafood Corp., De Heus Animal Feed Corporation, Cargill Company Limited, etc)
At VIETSHRIMP 2018, VNF wished to build the brand as the largest and most advanced by-product processor in Vietnam, and promoted its values to the shrimp industry in particular, and the fishery sector in general. In fact, VNF can produce products of high economic value from shrimp by-products (head and shell, an environmental burden on shrimp farming) such as feed ingredients (SSE products) and pharmaceutical raw materials, such as chitin and chitosan which add great value to the industry. After investment in R&D and manufacturing facilities at the VNF Hau Giang factory, VNF is now the only company in Vietnam that can produce and commercialize food products from shrimp by-products
VIETSHRIMP 2018 was also a great opportunity for Vietnam Food to meet and share experiences with existing partners and to connect and seek opportunities to cooperate with new partners for the puspose of cooperation and development in the shrimp supply chain
