YOUR PET EATS FAST NOT BECAUSE THEY’RE GREEDY!
Dogs and cats are biologically built differently from humans – even their saliva works differently.
Humans start digesting starch right in the mouth thanks to amylase. But pets have little to no salivary amylase, meaning starch digestion depends heavily on the pancreas.
⚠️ Too much rice, potatoes, or poorly cooked starch over time may overload the pancreas without owners realizing it.
Cats are even more sensitive because they are obligate carnivores. Over time, an improper diet may not only cause bloating and poor digestion, but also disrupt metabolism, increasing the risk of obesity and chronic diseases.
